OMS has an essential accessory for today’s diver; the OMS Safety Kit contains an SMB and Spool. The bright red and yellow safety pocket makes it easy to locate by the dive buddy. The safety pocket attaches to any 2″ (5.1 cm) webbing or it can be clipped to the front of a BC. A zipper allows for easy access but prevents items from falling out. The 3 different configurations will answer the needs for most divers.

Description

Shooting a surface marker buoy is a skill all new divers learn and all divers use. The Safety I Kit is perfect for new divers and most traveling divers. The Safety I Set includes: A 39.6″ (100.6 cm) Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) with a closed bottom and oral/power inflator that works well in tropical locations and conditions with calmer seas. A 50′ (15.25 meter) lightweight ABS plastic finger spool comes complete with durable braided nylon line and a BigGrip double-ender stainless steel spring loaded gate clip for attachment to SMB. The kit items come in the included safety pocket.

Make sure the boat can see you by using a taller SMB. The OMS Safety Set II include a 6′ (1.83 meter) SMB with an open bottom and one way valve, which is ideal in rougher waters. A 100′ (30.5 meter) lightweight ABS plastic finger spool comes complete with durable braided nylon line and a BigGrip double-ender stainless steel spring loaded gate clip for attachment to SMB. The kit items come in the included safety pocket.
